Hello and welcome to my new blog!

Delighted to be writing this from Blighty – I’m doing that rather Edwardian thing of summering in England (escaping from the Indian heat and monsoon) and it’s lovely to be re-connecting with your own country. The countryside looks so beautiful at this time of the year especially in the Cotswolds where I seem to be spending most of my time.

It’s been a busy few months and exciting things have been happening. We’ve found a fantastic graphic designer, Illy from Super Bobcat, who’s been working his magic with the Ouseko logo. I love the new banner – the white on floral is just gorgeous. Illy can be found at ilhan@superbobcat.com. Thank you Super Bobcat!

We’ve also done our first proper photoshoot with the extremely talented Christine Taylor. So lucky with the location..the beautiful Wasing Estate in Berkshire, a secret garden of ancient trees, wooded glades and Victorian greenhouses. After a couple of damp days the sun came out and we shot to our heart’s content. Here’s a glimpse of behind the scenes…

And of course there’s the new website www.ouseko.com and our Etsy store – a culmination of months of hard work in India and the UK. Special thanks to Tina, Josh, Di and Chrissy for making it happen.
